Banco Caja Social and ANIF announce the 10 finalists of the 19th Edition of the Excellence Award for micro and small entrepreneurs

896 entrepreneurs registered, with finalists belonging to sectors such as food, technology, academic, aesthetic health, nursery, recycling, among others.

The Excellence Award for Micro and Small Businesses, carried out each year by Banco Caja Social together with the National Association of Financial Institutions ANIF, aims to recognize the work of micro and small entrepreneurs as generators of employment and development, paying tribute to them. so that they continue fighting in a country that knows that businessmen are the engine of the economy.

This year, 896 entrepreneurs registered, of which 10 finalists from various sectors such as food, technology, academic, aesthetic health, nursery, recycling, among others, were selected.

The actions implemented to consolidate the economic reactivation, the lessons learned during the situation and the commitment to corporate social and environmental responsibility and adoption of good business practices were the characteristics considered by the Award juries for their selection:

For the Microenterprise category the finalists are:

Academia Chabelly SAS (Bogotá): Training institute for work and human development focused on promoting work skills in the field of aesthetics and beauty. Fumigir LTDA (Cundinamarca): pest control in commercial establishments, residential sectors and hotels, as well as services for the control of wildlife. Megaplas SAS (Antioquia): production of plastic and biological packaging for industry and commerce. Vital Medic Terapia (Cundinamarca): wellness center that offers facial and body aesthetic services. Cañaveral Garden Nursery (Santander): marketing of gardening elements, landscaping services and technical advice. In the case of the small business category, the finalists are:

FIREFLY ENERGY SAS (Cundinamarca): custom software developers for web and app, devops, Big Data & Analytics developments. FOOD PRODUCTS EL GLOTON SAS. (Bogotá): preparation of baked products mainly turkeys and legs with traditional methods and homemade meats. BOTELLAS DE AMOR FOUNDATION (Antioquia): recovery and recycling of post-consumer and post-industrial flexible plastic waste, transforming them into raw materials and recycled plastic strips. REPLASANDER SAS (Santander): sale and grinding of new raw materials based on usable materials with a low environmental impact, reincorporating them into the value chains. LOS CHAMOS AREPAS VENEZOLANAS Y ALGO MAS SAS: preparation and marketing of typical Venezuelan food. “It fills us with deep joy to see the reception that the Excellence Award has received over the years, with in this edition more than 896 entrepreneurs nominated, including clients and non-clients. Those who occupy the first places in each category will receive a prize of $45,000,000, the second, $25,000,000, and the three finalists, $5,000,000 each. The event will take place in person on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Club El Nogal.
